Being a leader in the Fire, Health, and Safety industry, we cannot afford to be left behind as it relates to code changes and industry developments. With this being said, the following affiliations were formed as a means of ensuring that we are always “in the know” and always able to deliver a safe, reliable service to our customers.

Automatic Fire Alarm Association (AFAA)

The Automatic Fire Alarm Association (AFAA) is a not-for-profit trade association serving the fire alarm and smoke detection industry. AFAA believes in a balanced approach, using the correct technology for the application, whether it is smoke detectors, fire sprinklers, fire extinguishers, or passive fire protection through proper building materials.

Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE)

The Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) is a worldwide body that provides research, training, conferences, and professional qualifications for persons working in fields related to firefighting, the science of prevention, and related technology. The IFE was established in 1918 and upholds professional standards within all public and private fire sectors by offering an assessment of knowledge.

National Fire Sprinkler Association (NFSA)

For over a century, the National Fire Sprinkler Association has been advocating for the widespread acceptance of fire sprinkler systems throughout the United States. The NFSA works closely with lawmakers to pass legislation that will make homes and businesses safer through media appearances and live fire sprinkler demonstrations.

National Association of Fire Equipment Distributors (NAFED)

The National Association of Fire Equipment Distributors (NAFED) is a trade association serving companies that sell, distribute, and service fire equipment. Nearly all of our members sell and service portable fire extinguishers in addition to a full range of fire protection services. You can find NAFED members working in commercial, industrial, and residential settings, making buildings safe.

National Fire Protection Association (NFPA)

The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) is a United States trade association that creates and maintains private, copyrighted standards and codes for usage and adoption by local governments. Established in 1896, the NFPA is devoted to eliminating death, injury, property, and economic loss due to fire, electrical, and related hazards.

American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP)

The American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP), formerly known as the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), is a global organization of occupational safety and health (OSH) professional members who manage, supervise, research, and consult on work-related OSH concerns across all industries. Society members use risk-based approaches to prevent workplace fatalities, injuries, and illnesses. The organization was founded on 25 March 1911 in the wake of the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire, after a lack of safety measures caused the death of 146 garment workers.
